The reason you should know this is that in some wedding locations in other parts of the world, weddings are arranged by travel agents, at or by hotels or resorts. In such cases, the bride and groom become part of a 'conveyor-belt' wedding process at these hotels. Their wedding is another production-line number, in a queue of up to 10 weddings in one location, in a day.
This is especially true in some international resorts and hotels, where your wedding is done on the hotel grounds, one after another.
Worst of all, the wedding may take place next to swimming pools with screaming kids and cleaners walking past with their cleaning trolleys. I have actually seen this, to my shock, at some large international hotels. I could only watch and feel sorry for the couple.
Sadly, some large travel companies in your home country are now starting to make similar arrangements with some Australian hotels, where you are placed in the hotel grounds for your wedding, with apartment (condo) or hotel rooms, or uncontrolled swimming pool crowds as your back drop.
Unfortunately if you do not check with your travel agent, your dream wedding in Australia may end up as a major disappointment.
Your first clue about this should be if your travel agent does not show the actual location or venue of your wedding to you. With today's technology, and availability of information, all travel agents should have a website or brochure to show you exactly where your wedding will be.
