The Olde Congregational Church is a beautiful, quaint sandstone building set in picturesque gardens only 15 minutes from the heart of the city.
First opened for worship on 19 November, 1876, it features the work of local Italian master stone masons. Inside the beautiful building one is greeted with rich timbers and the warmth of the sandstone charm. A range of stain glass windows adorn the walls, many dedicated to past parishioners. The front of the church is graced by a beautiful pipe organ, built by John Parker, and this instrument is still used today.
The Olde Congregational Church is ideal for the couple who wish to be married in the tradition of a genuine historic, sandstone church.
